Inside Sales Representative
Fort Wayne, IN
The Sales Representative is our primary contact
point with the customer. Duties include order
entry, general research, day-to-day customer
service, and project based work. Must project a
professional image through contact with current
and prospective customers.
Duties and responsibilities:
•
Maintain solid customer relationships by handling questions and
concerns with speed,
accuracy, and professionalism.
• Respond
to customer RFQ’s. Work with the Sales Supervisor in developing
a market
driven price.
•
Occasionally travel to customers to enhance the relationship and
determine their needs.
• Assist
with technical information and coil calculations.
•
Responsible for Order entry
• Ability
to develop intimate knowledge of customer needs
•
Research new market opportunities
• Map out
potential customers & competitors
• Assist
in determining unmet needs and market structure
• Conduct
initial contact with prospective customers and provide status
report following
contact
• Able to
create reports and modify documents using Microsoft Office Suite
•
Proactive communications with the customer
• Assist
in developing procedures for contacting and qualifying leads
• Assist
in developing procedures for updating prospect information
• Assist
in developing procedures for updating competitive information
• Assist
in developing marketing pieces for print and the Internet
• Assist
in developing E-marketing/Internet marketing services
• Assist
in developing sales targets
• Assist
in developing pricing structures
Requirements:
• 2 years
of technical inside sales experience.
•
Associates or Bachelors degree preferred but not required
• Ability
to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Strong
telephone presence
• Strong
organizational skill with attention to detail
• Ability
to maintain a professional image even when dealing with
difficult situations and
customers
• Sound
computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft
Office
• Able to
strike a good balance in assessing customer and company needs
• Sound
analytical skills
